Chairman

item39435 Meet Kenneth S. Innis, the charismatic Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The R.O.W. Group, formerly known as Southeast Financial Group – an industry leader that has been making waves in the Nashville community since 1986.

The success behind The R.O.W. Group’s personalized approach lies in Ken’s vision of Financial Architecture. He firmly believes that every client deserves a handcrafted plan tailored to their unique circumstances.

Being a steward of wealth is a heavy responsibility that can’t be overlooked; you must be educated about your decisions with that wealth so that the heirs have the privileged opportunity to bear responsibility for that wealth. As a steward of wealth, Ken carries the weight of this responsibility with grace and dedication, never overlooking the importance of the tiniest detail while fostering trust-based relationships with his clients, which have become the foundation of his firm’s success.

Ken’s systematic approach is very interactive, it’s heavy on dialogue to get deep into his client’s financial history and understand where they want to go in the future. Most clients don’t want to think about the “how to” of their wealth; they want someone to create solutions for them, so they don’t have to. Ken tries to make client meetings enjoyable experiences but likes finding ways to make clients think about their wealth so he can understand their wants and needs and act on them. Ken follows sequential thinking to lead clients easily from one point to another so that it is a painless experience.

Having stepped into the financial world in 1971 with Advanced Financial Planning Corporation, his dedication to growth and excellence doesn’t end there. Ken has been a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table since 1973, as well as being a member of Finseca, (previously known as the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting), the National Association of Plan Advisors, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Not to mention, he is a proud Stockholder of M Financial Group.

A true lifelong learner, Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts from David Lipscomb University and attended The Nashville School of Law. Equipped with a Life and Health license, as well as FINRA Series 7 securities registration, he’s more than prepared to conquer any financial challenge that comes his way.

In 2013, The Nashville Business Journal named Ken one of the top Financial Planners in the Nashville area. Recognizing Ken’s unmatched dedication, Nashville Business Journal also named Ken a Power Leader in Finance in 2016 and 2017. Ken and Mary Jo Innis’ hard work has always glowed brightly, earning The R.O.W. Group acknowledgement as one of the largest financial planners in Nashville by NBJ every year since 2006.

Outside of the financial realm, Ken is affectionately known as “Dr. K.”. Beloved sports talk show host with his distinct, distinguished voice and lighthearted humor, it’s hard not to listen to what Dr. K has to say. In this space, he shares his vast knowledge and aptitude in the world of sports, a passion of his that has been entertaining fans since 1977.

Kenneth S. Innis puts his heart and soul into creating a brighter, financially smart future for his clients and the Nashville community alike.
